How does it work?

 

A customized treatment program is designed following an evaluation of the patient. Treatments  can include the use of multiple advanced tools as well as manual manipulation, and exercise. 

 

Exercise is the cornerstone of any rehabilitation program,

 

 Modalities include but are not limited to:

  • Active exercise

  • Manual manipulation which includes massage, stretching and passive range of motion techniques

  • Laser therapy to stimulate healing

  • Neuromuscular and transcutaneous electrical stimulation.

 

Physical rehabilitation for pets is similar to physical therapy for humans. Treatment provides improved function & quality of life for patients with a variety of conditions affecting the musculoskeletory and neurologic systems. This includes, but is not limited to, injury or diseases affecting bones, muscles, and  joints or neurologic disorders, and weight loss programs.
